Our founders spent years scaling production systems at Tesla — managing thousands of daily defects across body assembly, battery production, and final vehicle inspection. They faced the same impossible choice every manufacturer faces: inspect everything manually and slow down the line, or use statistical sampling and ship defects to customers.
